Kindness

There are seven types of virtues according to Catholic catechism. So there are plenty of stories or article about,

·         Chastity – purity, knowledge, honesty, wisdom

·         Temperance – self-control, justice, honour, abstention

·         Charity – will, benevolence, generosity, generosity, sacrifice

·         Diligence – persistence, effort, ethics, rectitude

·         Patience – peace, mercy, ahimsa, sufferance

·         Kindness – satisfaction, loyalty, compassion, integrity

·         Humility – bravery, modesty, reverence, altruism

Following is the story or article about kindness among seven type of virtues.

One day Mr. Kamal Perera walking through streets to find some books shops in the city. Once he notice that a street child is searching in a dust bin and found a small piece of new paper and try to read it. Kamal just notice this and wait some time and observe the child. How he search those newspaper parts and try to read those information. Then Kamal went away from that place and he just forget about that incident.

After one month when he at the same book shop he saw that same child looking around the book shop. He is at the outside of the book shop. Then the owner of the book shop shouted at him and he ran away.

Mr Kamal got to remember the incident and next day when he saw that boy, he try to talk with him. The boy does not go to school and his mother taught him about it. After his mother pass away he learn or read from newspapers parts at the trash. For his satisfaction first he bought him a small book. Next day when he went to the book shop the boy was there and he already read the book five times. Mr Kamal is very happy about the incident and think something that can help this little boy.

Mr Kamal is a kind hearted person. So he arrange a way to use the library for that street boy. The boy is so happy to see books and he start reading lots of books.

Suddenly Mr Kamal have to change the residence. But he make sure that he send some money to this boy every month.

But after few years Mr Kamal face into financial problem and he has to stop send money. After that he lost contact with the boy.

After twenty years later Mr Kamal got a heart attack and he has been hospitalized.  Lots of doctors examine him and instruct him to do a bypass surgery. But at that time he don’t have enough money to do that surgery.

Next day a doctor came to examine him and he looks familiar to his. Few seconds later both of then identify each other. Of course the doctor is the street child that he met at the book shop.

So now it is the payback time!!!
